Diving in Sipadan, a long planned holiday since beginning of the year and completed with awesome fun and exceeded the expectation.
The journey began with a lovely warm weather morning, when everything seems perfect without knowing what were ahead waiting for us (well, of course we have done all the arrangement, thinking everything is going to be fine).
First surprise right after we arrived the Kota Kinabalu, the master of our buddy picked us up from the airport and show us around the city, had an amazingly delicious pork noodle, coconut drink and lokan before we back to the airport for the flight to Tawau.
Second surprise, the flight to Tawau was delayed and keep delaying. When we were all tired from the 5am woke up for the first flight and knowing the flight to Tawau would be departing at almost 2am, we were still trying to entertain ourselves with positive spirit, enjoyed the best KFC I had ever had offered by the airline as dinner.
Third surprise, when we finally arrived Tawau at around 3am, the transport we arranged had gone back to Semporna due to the flight delay. And when the random pickup offer by the local did not seem to be a wise option, we decided to sleep over in the airport. Yeh, it was kind of scary to me, but it probably better off to risk being dump in the middle of no where at dark too. And guess what, we found massage chairs! Which mean we could sit and sleep comfortably while waiting for the next day. The longest 4 hrs I had ever felt...
Fourth surprise, the diving resort - the Rig! Build right in the middle of the ocean. 180 degree of the ocean view. All the tiredness vanished the moment we landed the platform. Even though there was a little drama on the room arrangement, all good after the great help from the awesome dive instructor.
Fifth surprise, Diving!!! Yeh!! Continuous diving for 5 days...
Smiley nudibranch :)
Orang Utan Crab!
Sea Turtle looking at you!
Awesome buddies, Dive Master, Dive Instructor, food! A valuable memory to treasure for lifetime. We will sure visit the places again soon. Till then, where is the next destination??
Any diving addicts out there, Sipadan is a must visit diving paradise!! And so as Seaventures - The Rig!
11 Rules of life that we should always remind ourselves of:
Rule 1: Life is not fair -- get used to it!
Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping -- they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you are. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.
Today get off to work as usual with my favourite pair of flat, which has been the most comfortable pair since the day I bought and never cause blister. But today, created two bubbles on both of my ankles.
Even the most expected routine could catch you off-guarded. It apply to every situation when you think you are 100% in-control, could possibly turn around and cause drama. The constant factor is "nothing stay constant". Maybe the feet skin become softer, the shoe material aging and become harder, which ever may cause the parties no longer compatible to each other. I guess this is the sign.. to alert...
first they ignore you,
then they laugh at you,
then they fight you,
then you win

Having the thought of constantly reminding yourself never take anything for granted.
You might say, "Well, we know it!"
However, how many of us really putting it in practice? Did you express your gratitude to someone who have helped you? Sometimes, this happened even to myself. When being nice to you become a routine, you will unconsciously take it for granted.
This is from my lovely Mum who have showered me with the unconditional love. Grapes in container, washed. Who will do this for you everyday?
The whole new diving experience about picking up this new hobby.. I have been to my first overseas dive!! And it is to see the famous Thresher Shark!! The shark with 2 meter-long tail!! Not to mention the crystal clear water with high visibility, indeed making the whole unforgettable memory, and fun that we could talk about for the years to come.
Thresher Shark in action!!
This smarty was out having breakfast when we, the bunch of us, waiting patiently along the edge of the cliff underwater. Yes CLIFF!!
The island..
Got to be thankful for the wonderful local Dive masters, instructors who organised the trip, buddies and friends who make the whole trip so awesome and memorable.
However, without my nicest OW instructor who introduce and encourage me to try going overseas dive, I would not have such guts to adventure out with beginner diving level. Even though we have been drifted apart, I always believe we meet certain people at certain time for certain reason. Thank you Instructor! If you know who you are! =)
Time to go on and blush the diving skill further... Where is the next destination?
Having so much fun from the recent new hobby.. somehow having the feeling this is going to end.. or already ended.. the Autumn breeze greetings signalling the winter is here soon.. Really thanks to my buddy and the instructor for all the good time, the fun laugh, unforgettable underwater memory and every helps we been through for the past few months..
My water proof camera housing first time in action under the water.. hopefully not the last...
Having to blog without using the bulky lappy or desktop is pretty cool indeed!! Except could not upload picture.. Where is the app that allow upload of picture?
It has been a year now.. and a regular quarter visit to the tropical land. Re-visiting places I used to hang out. Catching up with friends who I have been lost touch for years.. The feeling is indeed pretty good.. Love the food, love the friends, love the places, love the summer weather but still would love to have the 4 seasons.. The mix feeling always gives me hard time when it is closer to the end of the trip..
Wish all my friends and family in the land live a happy life! Hope to see you all again soon!
P.S. Discover this ice-cream in 7-11, which I love so much when I was young, and still liking it!
The lyric of the song keep replaying over and over again with my head after hearing my friend sang this morning.. so here it goes!
Have a fun sunday, catching up with friends from uni and college, and adding works to the mix.. yes.. on a sunday.. Hope everyone happy mid-autumn festival.. and my friend have a fun trip to NZ, AU!
I remember during a college lesson, the professor walked into the classroom with smile and said to us:
"I am commissioned by an organization, to do a survey which needed help from all of you."
This unusual activity have bring a slight burst of classroom discussion, which bring some fun to the boring class.
Surprisingly, there are only two questions in the questionnaire.
Question 1: He loves her so much. She is beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, and just plain old wonderful. But one day, unfortunately, she met a car accident. She recovered with a few big ugly scar on her face. Do you think he will love her still, as always?
A: Yes, he would! B: No, he wouldn't C: Maybe he would
Question 2: She loves him so much. He is a business elite, refined poise and no fear on working out the best for life. All of a sudden, he went bankrupt. Do you think she will love him still, as always?
A: Yes, she would! B: No, she wouldn't C: Maybe she would
A moment later, we are done with the questionnaire.
I wonder, what is your answer to the two question? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here you go:
The result statistic are:
Question 1: 10% on A, 10% on B, 80% on C Question 2: 30% on A, 30% on B, 40% on C
Looks like, more people can not tolerate a disfigurement beauty than a bankruptcy man.
Professor speaks with smile,
"When choosing the answer for the 2 questions, did you subconsciously regard them as your lover?"
"Yes" We all have the same answer.
"But, the questions have never mentioned he/she is your lover?"
Professor looks at us with the profound looking face.
"Now, let's presume if the He in question 1 is a father, the She in question 2 is a mother. And redo the two questions, would you adhere to the original answers?"
When the questionnaire return to us again, the classroom is filled with unusual quietness, our face became solemn and deep.
A few minutes later, when the Professor recalculate the statistic of the questionnaire, there are 100% on A for both of the questions.
Professor speaks with deep and passionate tone,
"There is a kind of love that is last ancient long, selfless, which would not be changed because of seasons, fame and fortune. This is the love of parents."
Remember to take good care of your parents, they love you unconditionally! Lover's love is not the only kind of love and also not everything of the world!
Yes!! Weis'!! After craving for year plus, finally found them in the local supermarket in Singapore!! I wanted to remember the moment of joy when I saw them lying in the big fridge!! Yes, I was thrilled!! The feeling of awesomeness, the positive attitude to motivate us thru this little moment of happiness is all we need to keep us going!! LOVE Weis'!! Yummmm~~
The rich dad has grown-up children from two wives. Three of them from the legally-married wife and one from his lover. When he was lying in the hospital during final stage of his life.. the three children were unable to be by his side for various reason, but only the son from his lover rushed to his side before he passed away.. and as usual, the elder brother start defending his inheritance from the late-dad..
Well, the point that keep me thinking is, when we pass away, all the material life that we work so hard to earn, live for, would be left as it is or maybe the children will start fighting for it.
Without realisation, we have grown up and getting old, our parents are growing more white hair and not as smart as before, the friends around us getting married, having their own family set up. Things gradually changing, what seems to be having now, would not be there forever, so as we.
Have you ever wonder, when we are gone, what will happen to things that we owned? Our clothes, our shoes? Emails that left in the mailbox? Facebook account still showing our friends' updates? The post that written today will be left in the one-of-million blog for people to search? But life goes on, the earth still rotate as usual. If everything become so insignificant in no time, why are we still working so hard to live a life?
What is the meaning of life when it will eventually ended?
